Reader Reviews for The Guardian:
“The opportunity to read this short novel/story itself is such a privilege.
Love was deeply deconstructed across the realm of human life, purgatory, and the other side. I felt the differentiation through the protagonist’s journey to embody his new role as the Grim Reaper.
As a spiritual healer, Mikael’s story deeply reaffirmed my appreciation that we, as eternal beings, have the ability to have the experience of love, sensations, and awareness. I also found a deeper appreciation for the connections we have with one another. Love and light are translated and transmitted each and every moment, and that we all have the choice: Darkness or Light, Conditional love or Unconditional love?
If you find yourself having a battle with the world, or within yourself, this short story will assist in the unfolding of your Light again. You will find reassurance again, you will be touched as I have with Mikael’s touch, as Shannon was touched by Lilith…
Thank you, Mikael, for this journey!”
“I don’t even like reading, but I like this!”
“I loved it! Such a cool twist.”
“Interesting take on the afterlife! Interesting yet a tad bleak, still the story highlights the possibility of a brilliant writing career for Ms. Short. I can definitely recommend this brief read!”
